For indie knitwear pattern designers
You can knit anything. Can you price it?
The pattern is only half the job — the math is the rest. Grading, yield, pricing, wholesale, international parity: the business side of knitting that nobody built tools for. So I built them. Run your pattern business on numbers, not hope.
No signup. No install. The demo is the real app with a sample project.
From one size to a finished pattern
Enter one size
Type the measurements of the size you designed. The app checks every value as you go.
Grade the run
Every size from XS to 5XL is graded, with stitch counts rounded to your repeats.
Export and price
Export a print-ready PDF and see what each marketplace really leaves you per sale.
One workspace for the whole pattern business
Marketplaces take 15–20% and own your customer. The tools below are built so you can price, publish, and sell on your own terms.
Grading Lab
Multi-size grading tables from one set of measurements. Enter a size, get the range — checked against your grading rules, every row.
Yield & Cost
Yarn estimates, wastage, and true unit cost per size. Know your margin before you write the first line of instructions.
Pricing & Income
Market-band pricing, price psychology, and income scenarios across platforms — including what marketplaces actually take.
Wholesale Line Sheets
Keystone-compliant wholesale pricing: tier discounts, per-order costs, Net 30 drag, and the honest comparison with marketplace commissions.
International Pricing
Parity pricing across 13 currencies with FX-leak tracking. Price each market like a business, not a guess.
Gauge & Fit Translator
Each test knitter's swatch tension, translated across your graded sizes. Which size they should knit — at a glance.

Founding testers
This tool is before launch, which means the first small group of designers gets to shape it — and its pricing. Join as a founding tester: try the demo, tell me what you would pay and what you would change, and hear about launch first. Testers who help find the real bugs get a significant discount when paid tiers ship. No fee, no spam — just honest answers.
Questions designers ask
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start — there is no sign-up. Your projects are saved in your browser, on your device.
Which sizes does it grade?
Nine sizes, XS to 5XL, from the Craft Yarn Council women’s body measurements — or your own custom size chart. Enter one size and the app grades the rest.
Inches or centimetres?
Both. Gauge is counted per 4 in or per exactly 10 cm, and size-chart steps are converted into your project’s unit before grading.
Does it work for crochet?
Yes. Grading works from your measurements and your stitch and row gauge, so it suits knit and crochet garments alike.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser’s storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to. Download a backup from Settings so clearing browser data never costs you work.
What does it cost?
It is free during the beta. At launch: a free plan, a $9.99 Launch Pass for 30 days, Pro at $49.99 a year, and Founding Lifetime at $109.99, capped at 150 designers.
Who built this?
I should tell you the unusual part up front: I don't know how to knit. I'm a developer, not a designer. My late mother knitted and crocheted, and what she taught me was that making things for people with your hands is a form of care. When I looked into the independent pattern-design world, I saw that care being buried under hundreds of unpaid hours of spreadsheet math — grading, yield, pricing, wholesale — the business side nobody builds tools for.
So I did the thing I can actually do: I wrote the math so designers don't have to fight Excel at 11 PM. What I can't do is pretend I understand your yarn, your fit, your eye. That's what this founding-tester group is for — the designers in the room checking that what I built is actually right. If you find something wrong in it, tell me. I built this to be torn apart and rebuilt better, not to be worshipped.
